Our onboard restaurants offer culinary delights for every taste

Together with our head chefs, we have created exciting and varied menus that make your time on board an unforgettable culinary experience. Enjoy dinner in a luxurious setting, pleasant company at your table, attentive service from our waitstaff, and exquisite wines from around the world.

All of our head chefs are members of the renowned gastronomic society “Chaîne des Rôtisseurs,” which is dedicated to the development of culinary excellence and a passion for top-quality cuisine.

Included Services

With our full board offering, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurants are included, as well as all dishes and snacks available at our 24-hour buffet restaurants, pizzerias, grill restaurants, poolside barbecues and snack stations. Room service and afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes and pastries are also included.

In addition to the main restaurants, there are several specialty dining venues on board, such as the Ocean Grill by Marco Pierre White, where a small service charge applies.

Specialty Restaurants

Our specialty restaurants offer full flexibility through “Select Dining”, ideal if you wish to dine in a different setting, with different table companions, at alternative times, celebrate a special occasion, or enjoy a romantic dinner for two. Please note that a small service charge applies in these venues.

  • Arcadia: The Ocean Grill (Marco Pierre White) and Sindhu (Indian cuisine by Atul Kochhar)
  • Aurora: The Glass House (wine and signature dishes by Olly Smith), The Beach House (outdoor grill restaurant), and Sindhu (Atul Kochhar)
  • Azura: Sindhu (Atul Kochhar), The Glass House (Olly Smith), and Epicurean (classic fine dining)
  • Britannia: Sindhu (Atul Kochhar), Epicurean (classic fine dining), and The Glass House (Olly Smith)
  • Ventura: Epicurean, Sindhu (Atul Kochhar), The Beach House (outdoor grill), and The Glass House (Olly Smith)

Main Restaurants

Club Dining

With our “Club Dining” option, you will enjoy the elegant, social atmosphere of our main restaurants, attentive service and a five-course dinner (six courses on Gala Evenings). In this stylish setting you can share your experiences with fellow travellers and meet new friends.
Choosing Club Dining means opting for a traditional dining experience with fixed seating times and the same table each evening. You may select your seating preference at the time of booking. Dinner is offered at 6:30 pm or 8:30 pm. Your table number, dining time and assigned restaurant will be provided in your stateroom at the start of your cruise.

  • Azura: The Oriental Restaurant and The Peninsular Restaurant
  • Britannia: The Oriental Restaurant
  • Ventura: Bay Tree Restaurant

Freedom Dining

With “Freedom Dining”, you will also enjoy a five-course dinner (six courses on Gala Evenings) with excellent service in the refined atmosphere of our main restaurants. The difference is that you may dine at any time between 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm.
Freedom Dining is available on Arcadia, Aurora, Azura, Britannia and Ventura and is included in your cruise fare, just like Club Dining. If you prefer the flexibility of Freedom Dining, please select this option during the booking process.

Chaîne des Rôtisseurs

Founded in Paris in 1950, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an esteemed gastronomic society comprised of chefs and restaurateurs from around the world. An invitation to join is considered a high honour. All P&O Cruises head chefs are members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, ensuring that each of our ships has a representative of this distinguished society on board.
